I just discovered the site myself not too long ago, and I've spent quite a bit of time at it already. I agree, it is an invaluable community for us GASsy fellows.
also, I've assembled my own set-up kit on my own, but I do wish I could find that nifty case to put it all in...

First - Mad Stratter, I am totally Stoked that you are reading my blog. I have been a follower of yours for sometime now and will continue to follow it
Second - http://www.gigmate.com/ has "Just the Case" for $11.95. Since I already have most of the needed tools and too many string sets, I think this option is best for me.
